I’ve called St. Augustine home since 1999, attending Flagler College and graduating in 2003. Now, I live on the Intracoastal Waterway, raising my kids here—and it’s been an incredible place for them to grow up. One of them has really taken to surfing and fishing, embracing the outdoor lifestyle that makes this town so special.
Whether you’re drawn to the historic downtown, the award-winning beaches, or the endless outdoor activities like boating, fishing, and surfing, St. Augustine has something for everyone. Our small-town charm meets a thriving tourism scene, giving you the best of both worlds.
- Downtown St. Aug – Stroll through the oldest city’s cobblestone streets, visit centuries-old landmarks, and enjoy top-notch restaurants and shops. Peak season is during our Nights-of-Lights through the Christmas season.
- The Beaches – From Vilano to St. Augustine Beach to Crescent and Treasure beach, there’s a perfect spot to surf, relax, catch a sunrise, bike, or fish.
- The Intracoastal – Fishing (my favorite), paddleboarding, and waterfront sunsets never get old.
- Outdoor Paradise – Whether you love kayaking, golfing, or fishing, St. Augustine’s got it all. Right on the island we have Marsh Creek Country Club that offers an 18-hold golf course designed by former PGA touring professional, Mark McCumber.
- A True Community – Friendly neighbors, amazing schools, and a welcoming small-town feel.
